1. Match the expressions with situations.    
 1. " I'm sorry. I have a wrong number. "              - You call the wrong number by mistake.     
2. " There's no answer."              - The phone rings and rings., but nobody answers it.   
  3. " We have a bad connection."              - You can't hear someone clearly.   
  4. " The line is busy."              - You come back to a conversation after an interruption.   
  5. " Where were we?"              - The person you are calling is talking on the phone.

VBN 7

1. Match the travel items to the notes. Mark the stress on each word by underlining the stressed syllable.
      1. bathing suit - (ui in suit sounds like oo in too), countable
      2. batteries - ies=y (singular)
      3. clothes - (sounds almost like close), always plural
      4. schedule - (sch = /sk/ ), countable
      5. scissors - (sc = /s/ ), plural, a pair of (singular)
2. Add two more travels items. Then write notes about each word.
      1. pajamas --  You wear it when you go to bed. If you use it you can sleep calmness. Most people     
                              use it everywhere.
      2. toothpaste -- You use toothpaste with your toothbrush to clean your teeth. It serves as an abrasive 
                               that aids in removing the dental plaque and food from the teeth.
      3. shampoo -- Most people use it wash their hair.
      4. razor --  Men use razor to remove the hair on their face. It fast and easy.
      5. sunscreen -- If you don't want to get a sunburn, you can use it
      6. sleeping bag -- When you go camping, you use a sleeping bag in your tent.

1. Use the map to number the directions to the bank below.
         1. Walk up one block.
         2. Turn right.
         3. Walk one more block.
         4. It's on the left, just past the post office.
         5. Make a left.
2. Draw your map. Show the way from your home or class to place you often go to. Then write the directions to go with map. 
 Directions from my home to school.
1.  Go out home turn left walk up two blocks. Then turn right. It's supermarket.
2.  Turn right go straight about  four blocks. Across the road. Continue walk to north my highshool.
3.  Opposite the street turn left into walk one more block.
4. Turn right out of home. Turn left again at the corner, go one block, and turn right. It's on turn left to bank
